As a frequent flyer, I've witnessed it countless times – travelers desperately trying to squeeze their luggage into those metal baggage sizers at check-in counters and boarding gates. The stress, the embarrassment, sometimes even the heartbreak of having to unpack personal items in front of everyone. And then comes the dreaded excess baggage fee – often more expensive than the ticket itself.
I've been there myself. Standing at the gate, watching the airline staff approach with that measuring device, feeling my heart race. "Will my bag fit? Did I pack within the limits? Should I have checked online before leaving home?"
That's when it hit me – this information shouldn't be a mystery. Every traveler deserves to know exactly what they can bring, without the guesswork, without the anxiety, and without the surprise fees. LuggaGenius was born from that simple idea: make baggage allowances transparent, accessible, and stress-free for everyone.
